On 26th May 2011, new laws came into force in the UK that affect most web sites. If cookies are used in a site, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 (UK Regulations) provide that certain information must be given to that site's visitors and the user must give his or her consent to the placing of the cookies.
 

Cookies are a technology which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a website. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your system. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it.
 

Borne does not directly make use of cookies, however we use Google Analytics for statistics such as the number of visitors to our website, and the country from which users are visiting. Google Analytics cookies DO NOT collect any personal information about website users. Further information is on the Google website.
