No baby born too soon
Prematurity is the leading cause of childhood death and disability worldwide. Research is needed to find new treatments to delay preterm labour. By bringing together scientific experts and clinicians, we will find the answers to prevent premature birth, everywhere and forever.
Borne is hoping to raise £100,000 through The Big Give’s Christmas Challenge on 1-8 December this year. In that week, all donations through our online campaign will be matched. This is a unique opportunity for your support to have twice the impact, at a time when we need it more than ever.
Your donation will fund research midwives and scientific researchers working to stop preterm birth. Find our more about our research ambition to support the work of a global group of preterm birth scientists with Borne’s Uterine Mapping Project.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Donate online on 1-8 December or fill out our online pledge form and we’ll get in touch to organise your donation that week.
Send Borne Christmas e-cards and donate what you would have spent on printed cards to our Big Give Christmas Challenge.
We want to thank our pledge funders and Big Give Champion, the EQ Foundation, for committing £50,000 in total to our matching pot. We now need your support to help us secure these pledged funds and reach our £100,000 target during the first week in December.
WE NEED YOUR HELP, NOW MORE THAN EVER
This has been an unprecedented year of uncertainty for everyone and Borne, like many charities, has had to cancel almost all of our fundraising events. But babies continue to arrive, and women are giving birth in extremely difficult circumstances. The labs that we fund are open, and the research work is continuing.
We need your support more than ever to ensure the research can continue with confidence of funding.
Please help us if you can. THANK YOU!
