Thank you so very much for supporting
Borne's Big Give Christmas Challenge!
THANK YOU to everyone who supported our first ever Big Give Christmas Challenge. We are overwhelmed by your generous gifts at an uncertain time to raise over £158,000 (£167,402 including GiftAid), far exceeding our original target.
THANK YOU to Will Greenwood MBE, Dame Darcey Bussell, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Alistair Petrie, Greg Rusedski, Erin O’Connor, Dean Mumm, Luke Cowan-Dickie and Ellie Gibson for being such passionate and eloquent supporters of our work.
THANK YOU to Howden Specialty, the Nice To Meet You Foundation and Big Give Champion EQ Foundation for pledging to our pot of matching funds for the campaign. We hope you will support us again with an even bigger pledge of matching funds next year!
The impact of your donation
We have been consulting with the best scientific minds who have dedicated their careers to understanding pregnancy and childbirth. We asked for their informed view on what is inhibiting progress, and what can be done to help unlock the much needed answers and scientific breakthroughs that can transform clinical practice.
This consultation has given rise to a proposal for an open-source global collaboration that we are very excited to support. We will be announcing a research grant call in early 2021 to invite scientists and their research organisations to apply to be part of Borne’s Uterine Mapping Project (BUMP).
Your donation enables us to fund this new ground-breaking project with confidence. Click here to find out more about BUMP.
Please support us
While the Big Give Christmas Challenge has now closed, it is not too late to support us. No gift is too small, and all of the funds raised will be supporting BUMP.
