GRANT AMOUNT: up to £260,000
GRANT DURATION: up to 3 years (4 years for patient-orientated CRTFs where the project will require significant amounts of patient contact)

Clinical Research Training Fellowships are designed to help clinically qualified talent to obtain the research track record and skills to develop their interest in women’s reproductive health and the complications that lead to preterm birth.

Borne has joined forces with the UKRI’s Medical Research Council to offer Clinical Research Training Fellowships to dedicated clinicians looking to develop their academic careers in the area of obstetrics to undertake a PhD or other higher research degree. CRTFs receive funding to cover up to three years of salary, tuition fees and a contribution towards research costs. Grant calls are subject to the MRC’s timetable and review process.
