INFORMATION FOR NEW, CURRENT
AND EXPECTANT PARENTS
We benefit from being part of a strong network of pregnancy and baby charities in the UK, meaning we have access to a wide range of relevant updates and advice in this time of crisis. The Parent and Baby Charities Network formed in 2019, provides a wealth of information, and we encourage you to stay connected with us and relevant organisations that can offer support.
- The latest guidance on COVID-19 from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in relation to pregnancy, labour, birth and your baby
- A guide to self-isolation for parents, including some ideas of how to keep your children entertained, calm and happy during a time that is likely to be difficult for both you and them (Twins Trust)
- Information on best practice for infant feeding during the pandemic, including advice on breastfeeding and formula feeding, given the recent shortages due to panic buying (Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative)
- A helpful list of FAQs for parents of babies that were born sick or premature, including those that are currently in, or have recently been discharged from, the neonatal unit, and those that received neonatal care at birth and are now older (Bliss)
