trusts & foundations
We believe in building deep, long-standing relationships with Charitable Trusts and Foundations that share our vision.
Borne is an independent charity that receives no government funding, making this kind of partnership hugely important to us.
Our approach is focused on pump-priming early-stage research projects, giving scientists the impetus they need to develop their ideas and attract funding from research councils and other grant-making bodies. In this way, your contribution will be used to leverage additional funding – giving it a multiplier effect far beyond the initial investment.
what you can expect
We believe that any partnership should be mutually beneficial and based on strong communication.
We will work closely with you to ensure your charitable aims are met, and to identify projects that align with your values and objectives. We report annually on progress with the research programmes that we fund, and can provide updates that meet your needs and timescales. We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the value of our work, and laboratory visits and personal meetings can be arranged to meet with our researchers.
