Enjoy 18 holes of exhilarating competition against sporting legends at the beautiful Sunningdale Golf Club.

Borne’s Golf Day will be held at the beautiful and iconic Sunningdale Golf Club. Guests will have exclusive use of the 18-Hole Team Stableford (The Old Course), considered to be one of the best inland courses in the UK.
This is a four-ball competition with the best two of four net scores to count per hole. There will be a full handicap allowance, with a maximum of 18 for men and 36 for ladies.
We will be running two competitions on the day: nearest to the pin at holes 4, 8 and 12 ; and the longest drive at hole 10.
Rugby legend and 2003 World Cup Winner, Will Greenwood, has been the host of Borne’s Annual Golf Day for nearly five years.
Coach of the England Rugby team from 1997 to 2004, Sir Clive Woodward is a keen golfer who has attended Borne’s Golf Day on many occasions.
Ex New Zealand rugby team captain, Sean Fitzpatrick, will be joining the Legends Team at Borne’s 2019 Golf Day.
Former New Zealand rugby union player Zinzan Brooke is once again supporting Borne’s Golf Day.
Supporters from past events
Former English rugby union player for Leicester Tigers, Austin Healey, joined Borne supporters for a competitive game of golf in 2018.
2018 Open Championship winner and internationally acclaimed golfer, Francesco Molinari, has been an ambassador for Borne since 2018.
08:00 – Guest arrival and registration (Critchley Room).
08:45 – Official welcome.
09:00 – Players will be transported to their starting tees.
09:30 – Shotgun start. White tees for men, red tees for ladies.
14:00 – Players transported back to the Clubhouse for a traditional Sunningdale lunch with wine in the Dining Room. Prize giving / raffle / auction.
16:00 – Guests depart at own leisure.
Club house rules
- Caddies. A minimum of one caddie per team is required, and has been booked at £80 plus tip. Captains should bring cash on the day. To book additional caddies, contact Sunningdale’s Caddie Master, Vince Reeves: email@example.com, +44 (0) 134 626 064.
- Clubhouse dress. Men must wear jackets in the dining room. Smart casual wear is required in the bars. Jeans are not allowed in the Clubhouse or on the course. Tailored shorts may be worn at the Club provided they are worn with plain coloured knee length socks or white sports socks which cover the ankle. You may arrive changed for golf but no golf shoes may be worn in the bar.
- Mobile phones. Mobile phones may only be used in the changing rooms and the car park, not on the Golf Course or Club House.
