Fundraise for us
Put the FUN into Fundraising, drive research and save lives.
The research happens because you go the extra mile and fundraise for Borne. Find an event, join in, have a blast and raise money to power the research that can bring an end to premature birth.
We are with you every step of the way. Get in touch on how we can help you.
Taking part in a challenge for us:
- You can easily collect sponsorship online using Justgiving. Visit the Borne Justgiving page to find out more.
- Use social media to let people know that you are a fundraiser.
- Tell us about your challenge. We will put it on our website and social media.
Have a go, enjoy and raise money that could drive the research to prevent prematurity.
We have a number of places available at challenge events, to take part please get in touch with us. You will be required to raise a minimum sponsorship amount to cover the cost of the event.
If you’re taking part in a challenge event with your own place, you can nominate Borne as your chosen charity. Contact us to find out more.

"I arrived in the world at 27 weeks, weighing 1lb 12oz and unable to breathe alone. I spent almost four months in the Bath #NICU, much of it on life support. I was one of the lucky babies who survived, but experienced delayed development and dyslexia as a result of my premature birth. I also have a scoliosis to my lumbar spine and lesions to my hip." . We are inspired by @meems_lewis who is walking 100 kms of the St Cuthbert's way to prevent other babies being born early 👣🙌 . Right, from top to bottom: Borne ambassador Alistair Petrie, actor Tom Stoughton (who played young Sherlock in season 4), and some of the amazing fans who attended #SherlockedUSA and made this possible! . . #fundraising #charity #bestfanarmy #bestfandom #borneresearch #borntoosoon #prematurebirth #pretermbirth #sherlockedUSA
